Swimming Pool
Outside the Main House is the well-shaded, alarmed, salinated, Swimming Pool. (The strength of the salt water is the equivalent of human tears, and assists in keeping the water clean and preventing eye infections). It is accessed by a ladder at the shallow end.
The pool is 36 feet long, 16 feet wide, with a depth of 3’6” at the shallow end, descending to 7 feet at the opposite end.
There are 12 sunbeds with cushions, a dining table seating 12, a round table seating 4, a third rectangular table seating 6, a large parasol and a 3-seater swing chair.
Because the pool is comparatively shallow, no diving is permitted.
Beyond the Swimming Pool is the Grange in which there’s a pool shower, a fridge/freezer, a table tennis table with a net, bats and balls, a croquet set, and a set of ‘boules’.
There is a portable charcoal-fired barbecue.
