Le Clos des Sources
Just over an hour from Toulouse, situated in a wonderful natural position, the approach to
this house down its drive is the start of a voyage of discovery. The façade appears as a
discreet single storey but on entering the house there is an enchanting revelation as its full
scope and appeal becomes apparent.
Le Clos des Sources is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and furnished with style,
inspiration and great good taste. The centre piece of the interior is a superb open plan
kitchen/dining/living room running the full width of the house. This is a magnificent family
space. Descent to a lower level and further accommodation leads naturally out into an
attractive small courtyard bounded by two wings. The heated swimming pool is built on a
raised citadel formed cleverly from a barn, the upper levels of which are converted into a
delightful cuisine d’été and dining area.
Views over the remainder of the garden, the petanque court, extensive lawn and to the
rolling hill country of Gascony complete this idyllic setting for a family holiday.
"What a wonderful week filled with wine, good food and incredible memories. We discovered
our new favourite pastime – hanging out in the hammocks! Beautiful house to match the
beautiful scenery. We will be back again soon!"
Toby and Dominic ......... July 2022"
"What a wonderful heavenly home. Thank you so much for opening the shutters to the blissfulness of this place. Beautiful linen sheets, restful colours, every detail has been thought about. Delicate planting in your immaculate garden and pool. Thank you all from Piers to Eva for taking care of us and your heavenly home. Same time next year and the next and the next........"
Kitty, Tida and Isla ...... July 2022
"Covid affected our numbers but certainly not our enjoyment as it meant Michael and I had
this glorious home all to our lucky selves! We’ve had such fun discovering new parts of the
stunning house and gardens aswell as trips further afield this year, we found Mossaic
fascinating! Although petanque games and BBQ’s simpler affairs a deux we loved every minute and enjoyed regular visits down the road to Tables d’Urdens. A big thank you and we cant wait till next year!"
Juliet and Michael ........, September 2021
"If it was possible, we would take up this house and put it anywhere in the world! The quiet
calm and elegance of the place is truly fantastic as of course its location in the middle of
nature. The greatest place to disappear for a while and enjoy the sounds of silence in this
hectic world. We loved it and would like to thank you for sharing it with us."
Paul H....... and family Amsterdam, Netherlands, July 2021
"Clos des Sources is just ace! Beautiful, peaceful, generous, still, with abundant glimpses of
here a pot, there a blossom, and endless large and small vistas that are such a treat to enjoy.
We have had a most wonderful time"
Judith ..... and family 2020
"What a beautiful house you have made. The décor is a dream, the beds are comfy; the
gardens are a joy and our week has been gorgeous. All the work and love you have put into
it is worth it. A stunning place. Thank you."
Penny ........ June 2018
"We reach the end of another magical stay here, the third in three years. Highlights have
included stumbling on a practicing German symphony orchestra in Anvillar church; Fleurance
market again meeting all our food and Armagnac needs; another spectacular meal at La
Table des Cordeliers in Condom; a wonderful visit to La Mongette over the way as well as
some upmarket degustation at our spiritual home Chateau de Pellehaut; lots of delightful
visits to St Clar and walks in this beautiful part of France with butterflies, deer, snakes etc.
Once again so much to enjoy about this lovely home, especially this year the beautiful
planting all around the property. Thank you so much for letting us share your fabulous home"
